The Beanie Cake is moulded to look like a ribbed knitted beanie with textured sides, a small pom-pom on top, and filled with passionfruit and lemon cream, raspberry purée, and a dacquoise sponge base.
The flavour is tart and citrus-forward. Not as rich as our chocolate-based sculpted cakes, which makes it a good option if you're serving a mixed group or want something a bit lighter.
Finished with a chocolate velveteen coat. Made in a kitchen that handles gluten, so not suitable for severe coeliac disease.
Designed as a novelty cake while maintaining a softer internal structure.
